Dear Colleague,

Next year we will celebrate the 11th ARI (Alicante Refractive International), again with international sponsorship of the ISRS/AAO.

This time, we celebrate a Summit! This Summit corresponds to our alliance with the Wavefront Congress, with which we shall celebrate yhe Lens, Refractive and Wavefront Surgery Summit as a joint venture.
This is a unique occasion to join clinicians with researchers in order to understand better our outcomes and the future of refractive surgery. In this new meeting format we shall try to bring innovations from the scientific world to the clinical practitioner and the needs of the clinical practitioner to the scientist. This scheme has been mastered successfull in previous occasions in other areas of medicine and has been an underlying organizational principle of the Wavefront Congress for the last 10 years.

Dr. Raymond Applegate, Dr. Ronals Krueger and myself will be most happy to welcome you in Alicante during this important occasion.
